Toradora is a series that originated from a Japanese light novel series written by Yuyuko Takemiya and illustrated by Yasu. The light novel series also involves other ten novel series.
These ten novel series were released between 10 March 2006 to 10 March 2009. Due to its massive popularity, the novel was picked up for various adaptations like television anime, manga series and an internet radio show.
Between 2008 and May 2009, an internet radio show was broadcasted and hosted by Animate Tv. Then between October 2008 and March 2009, 25 episodes of anime adaptation produced got aired in Japan on Tv Tokyo.
On 21 December 2011, a Blue Ray disc box set of original video animation episodes got released. The title of this series Toradora is derived from the two main characters named Ryuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka. Ryuji’s meaning in English is a dragon and is synonymous with the dragon. On the other hand, Taiga’s meaning in English is a tiger synonymous with the Japanese word Tora.
The Story of Toradora
The series revolves around a high school student Ryuji Takasu who is frustrated at looking his best in the second year. His eyes give him an intimidating delinquent appearance despite his gentle personality.
He has a best friend in his class, Yusaku Kitamura. Moreover, in class, Ryuji is happy to be with a girl Minori Kushieda whom he has a crush.
Unfortunately, Riyuji runs into the school’s most dangerous animal of the highest risk level, Taiga Aisaka. Taiga used to say that he was Minori’s best friend. Taiga always came to the school with a negative attitude and used to snap violently at everyone. She dislikes Ryuji and is living in an apartment facing his house.
Ryuji knows that Taiga has a crush on Yusaku. At the same time, Taiga also knows about Ryuji’s affections towards Minori. So they both decided to arrange to help set each other up with their crushes.
However, they set up romantic situations to help each other to know about their crushes. But most of the time, the case gets backfired. As they spend a lot of time with each other, their classmates start revealing that they are a couple.
Ryuji and Taiga disapprove of all the rumours and mention that they are just enjoying each other’s company. He used to visit Taiga house for a meal, and he also used to get her to the school.
Ryuji and Taiga both meet a childhood friend named Ami Kawashima. Ami is a famous teen model who transfers into their school. Ami seems to be friendly and is a self-proclaimed ditz.
But she quickly finds herself at odds with Taiga. As Yusaku wants them to all get-together, Taiga tries to put up with her antics. Later, Ami begins to grow feelings for Ryuji.

Who Will Be in The Cast of Toradora Season 2?
