Beer goggles is a slang term for a phenomenon in which consumption of alcohol lowers sexual inhibitions to the point that very little or no discretion is used when approaching or choosing sexual partners. It can also refer to literal goggle-like devices used to distort vision to simulate the effects of drunkenness. |

Pity Me is a village in County Durham in England, although other instances of the name can be found in Hexhamshire and near Morpeth. Pity Me is located north of Framwellgate Moor and west of Newton Hall, and is the home of the Arnison Centre, one of Durham's retail parks. |

Dog spinning (Bulgarian: тричане на куче(та), trichane na kuche(ta)) is a ritual formerly practiced in a village in southeastern Bulgaria.
In dog spinning, a dog is suspended above water on a rope. The dog is turned repeatedly in a given direction to wind the rope, then released so that it spins rapidly in the opposite direction as the rope unwinds. This ancient ritual of pagan origin was performed in order to prevent rabies. |
